DREAMWAVE

Formed in Brighton and now finding their home in Bristol, Dreamwave draws inspiration from a myriad of genres. They weave a captivating blend of synth pop, post-punk, Garage and psych rock, Their sonic landscape echoes the likes of Bee Bee Sea, Oh Sees, and Pond, while the influence of vintage synth sounds, courtesy of the Yamaha PS-20, adds a distinctive touch with its lo-fi tones.

Delving into cosmic themes and hidden links embedded in their lyrics and song names, Dreamwave discuss glowing feelings of contentment, dizzy and intense experiences and mind altered states reminiscent of Black Sabbath, Tame Impala, and The Doors.  Dreamwave is carving its niche in the rich tapestry of psych rock. It's not just music; it's an exploration of the mystical and the unknown.

Wakey Wakey Rise & Shine

Slowly assembled together after years of “life's wonderful lived

experiences” - at college, at Green Man festival, on Gumtree adverts, at gigs - Wakey Wakey Rise & Shine eventually emerged in Bristol in 2020. Influenced by the likes of King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Snapped Ankles, and the New Wave trailblazers DEVO and B-52s, the band came to

define their Psychedelic/post-punk sound; frilly psychedelic melodies fused with the fuzzed-up fury of high-octane post-punk, all powered by an embrace of all things silly and irreverent: “fun and mischievous ways of expressing yourself within art is probably an artist's greatest weapon”, explains Seamus, “Collectively we enjoy being a bit silly with

our ideas and keeping the writing process interesting and playful.” The band have been generating new fans through their unpredictable live shows with their music receiving airplay on BBC Radio 6 Music, BBC Introducing in the West and featured in The Unsigned Guide's Spotlight blog.

BIRDFEEDER

Birdfeeder convey themselves with conviction and intent with dark, gloomy riffs. They are a heavy psych five-piece hailing from Bristol and since forming in late 2021 as noisy post-punk they have been maturing, experimenting and expanding into a vast array of genres, truly developing a signature sound with an overarching sense of woe. They are intent on delivering an unsettling yet compelling sound.

They have been actively gigging since the conception of the group and since releasing their first single “Dishevelled” in March 2023, they have played many local shows, including Thekla, SWX, Down Stokes Festival and a headline at The Lanes, along with headlines in London and Falmouth. Early 2024 they will be releasing their debut EP and setting off for more gigs around the country.

THE HOLY TEMPLE

The Holy Temple is a psychedelic rock band from Austin, Texas. Their aim is to carry forward the ethos of the Texas psych bands of yesteryear, The Golden Dawn, Cold Sun, and The 13th Floor Elevators in the modern era within the confines of spacetime they are currently locked in within their current incarnations.

The Holy Temple are big fans of all kinds of bands from The Grateful Dead, to Goat, to La Luz, to The Black Angels. They have been playing shows live since July 2023 in and around Austin, though all of the members have had their own musical projects for years in Texas.
