SPIRAL DRIVE

DSC01452.jpg

Since bursting onto the neo-psych scene with their 2019 debut album Unity, SPIRAL DRIVE, the visionary project of German-Austrian multi-instrumentalist and music producer Raphael Neikes, has evolved into one of Europe’s most dynamic and boundary-pushing psychedelic acts.

Their second full-length, Visions in Bloom (2022), anchored by the multi-million-streamed single “Space Train”, cemented their reputation. The album fuses psychedelic rock, alternative, psych-pop, grunge, and indie into a dazzling, cohesive whole, earning comparisons to renowned artists like Tame Impala, King Gizzard, Queens of the Stone Age, MGMT, and even Pink Floyd, yet existing defiantly outside any one genre.

Alongside collaborators like Ben McLeod (All Them Witches) and Lord Fascinator (Children Collide), Neikes led a creative charge that has resonated across Europe, with a growing fanbase in the UK, USA, and Australia.

Last year their Beatles cover “Tomorrow Never Knows”, which features original artwork by Klaus Voormann, famously associated with the album cover of “Revolver”, earned acclaim across alternative press and way beyond their core fan base.
